The Product
Quintessentially English, the hand-drawn illustrations of floral china and teatime saucers seen on Lisa Stickley’s the Shortbread collection are also completely unconventional. Printed on Irish linen and accented by hand, these linens provide a crisply amusing backdrop for afternoon tea.

The Designer
Lisa Stickley found almost instant success upon graduation from London’s Royal College of Art in 2002 with a graduate degree in printed textiles. That same year she started her self-titled brand out of a refurbished Victorian house, and although completing projects for Burberry and Harrod’s, it’s her signature English-vintage-with-a-twist style that has fueled the success of her brand.
