The Product
Designers Guillame Delvigne and Ionna Vautrin wanted to bring uncommon textures to their vase series for Industreal, and the result is a collection that gives the impression of shingled roofs, tufted pillows, and a clutch of feathers. French for "waffle", Gauffré has a simple criss-cross pattern that could be interpreted as anything from a garden lattice to an ice cream cone. The narrow mouth of the tall vase makes it ideal for supporting tall blooms with heavy heads.

The Designer
French born designer Guillame Delvigne studied Industrial Design at l’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique and at the Politecnico di Milano before joining Ionna Vautrin and other up-and-coming designers for Industreal’s innovative “In dust we trust” show in Milan in 2004. Vautrin, a graduate of l’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique, worked for shoe designer Camper before working with glass and ceramics. Both Delvigne and Vautrin live in Paris and regularly collaborate.

In addition to working with both major and minor designers throughout Europe, Delvigne and Vautrin are members of Dito, a youthful design collective comprised of individuals all born in 1979.
