The Product
Despite their spare appearance, each of these spoons from Coe & Waito has a substantial personality. Slip cast in hand cut molds and left unglazed, the raw porcelain is sanded and refined until it's at its smoothest. Overtime, spoons may acquire a patina if used with highly pigmented foods or liquids.

The Designers Alissa Coe & Carly Waito began their partnership while studying industrial design at The Ontario College of Art and Design. The two artists found that they shared "an admiration for the elegant perfection of nature" which is easily evident from the exquisite detail in their work.
